Who is a good candidate for BOTOX®?BOTOX® can be used to prevent and treat fine lines and wrinkles that form as a result of dynamic lines, or lines that form when contracting muscles. It is now recognized that prevention is as essential as treatment of existing lines and wrinkles.
How soon will I see the results of a BOTOX® treatment?Decreased muscle movement and improvement in the appearance of the skin is noticeable as soon as 48 hours following injection, however, full treatment effect takes up to 14 days.
How long do BOTOX® injections last?Treatment results typically last 3 months. The exceptions are lip flips, which last approximately 6 weeks, and hyperhidrosis treatments, which last up to 6 months.
Is there any downtime after a BOTOX® injection?For best results, we recommend that you remain upright for 6 hours following treatment, avoid touching the treated area excessively (no massage), and limit vigorous exercise (such as cardio) for 24 hours following treatment.
